SaskEast Regional AA COMING SOON!
The minor hockey associations from Yorkton Minor Hockey, Melville Minor Hockey and Moosomin Minor Hockey have entered a Memorandum of Understanding with our U18AA, 15AA, U15AA programs. This MOU is a cooperation amongst the three associations to work together to promote AA Hockey in the Sask-East region. The philosophy behind this collaboration is to create a high quality, competitive, AA Hockey Program within our region.
The Sask East AA group will be managed by a committee formed of 2 members from Yorkton Minor Hockey, Moosomin Minor Hockey and Melville Minor Hockey boards - and a 7th member will be nominated to also serve on this committee. Similar to the NE Wolfpack - this committee will accept coaching applications, work with the appropriate leagues for the participating teams, and deal with any issues related to these teams.
All three teams will be rebranded as Sask-East-"Something" - name to be determined. The teams will be formed by players from the SaskHockey assigned radius for AA programing.
During the month of May, Sask East AA will:
Start a naming competition for the team NAMEs to complete the branding of this group; Board will be named; and, The call for coaching applications will be sent out.Follow here for updates
